OWNERS

 

Flo Moses, PT, MS, LAT, ATC - Founder, Sr. Partner - Flo is the senior partner and posts over 29+ years of experience in the field of athletic training at various levels including Division I universities, high schools and professional sports and 19+ plus years of experience as a physical therapist treating a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions. She enjoys the challenge of identifying and correcting dysfunction to human movement in patients of all ages and creatively returning them to a higher level of function. 

 

Steve Moses -Partner – Mr. Moses brings over 20 years of business experience to Sports & More Physical Therapy, Inc.  He provides stability in the financial aspect of the company.   Steve also enjoys his role in the marketing of Sports & More as he provides insight into this area due to his background in sales.

 

 Jason Harloff, PT, MSPT, LAT, ATC- Founder, Partner - Jason also stems from an athletic training background having treated the full spectrum of athletes. As a physical therapist for over 13 years he has developed several areas of expertise in treating patients with multiple conditions. Jason directs the aquatic physical therapy program and enjoys discovering new ways to challenge patients of all functional levels. 

 

 Jennifer Harloff, PT, MSPT - Partner - Mrs. Harloff is a pediatric physical therapist and although currently Sports & More does not offer pediatric services outside of orthopedic conditions, this is a possible area of growth for the company in the future.   She is currently working at Carolina Kids Therapy and Duke Hospital servicing the needs of their pediatric population.

 

 

 

In an ever changing healthcare world, Flo and Jason take pride in defining quality and have established a reputation of true patient-centered care.  They have a strong commitment to patient and community education and serve as clinical educators to several physical therapy curriculums.  They are often invited as guest lecturers for educating physicians, therapists, athletic trainers and coaches in many different settings.


 

STAFF THERAPISTS  

 

Jennifer Horay, PT, MPT, LAT, ATC - Staff Therapist - Mrs. Horay graduated with a Masters’ Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has a B.S. in Exercise Sports Science – Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Jennifer joined Sports & More Physical Therapy in May 2004. She is dedicated and compassionate in treating patients of all ages with orthopedic needs.

 

Matthew Webb, PT, DPT - Staff Therapist -Mr. Webb graduated with a clinical doctorate degree in physical therapy from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. He also has a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts. Matt utilizes manual therapy skills and enjoys incorporating functional strengthening to all of his patients.

 

Brent Young, PT, MPT - Staff Therapist - Mr. Young graduated with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University. He has a B.S. in Biology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Brent's main treatment philosophy rests on empowering patients through education. He enjoys helping patients identify their needs and incorporating manual therapy along with exercise program development to promote healing and safe return to activity.

 

 

Claire Little, PT, MPT - Staff Therapist -Mrs. Little graduated summa cum laude with a Master's Degree in physical therapy from East Carolina University in 1999. She also has a BS in Zoology/PreMed from North Carolina State. Claire has enjoyed working in the field of physical therapy and joined the team at Sports and More in March of 2006. Her primary goal of treatment is to guide her patients toward independence with self care and management by teaching them the proper tools and exercises. Claire is an avid runner and triathlete. She enjoys working with this population as well as pre- and post-partum related low back pain patients.

 

 

 

 Amanda Niles, PT, MPT, LAT, ATC- Staff Therapist -Ms. Niles graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy.  Her undergraduate degree was also from UNC-CH where she earned her B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Athletic Training.  She is passionate about traveling and interacting with other cultures around the world.  Amanda has a commitment to quality patient care and treating the root cause of an injury.

 

 

 

Jennifer Catalfano, PT, DPT, LAT, ATC  -Staff Therapist- Ms. Catalfano graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Elon University.  She also earned a B.S. degree in Sports Medicine with a concentration in Athletic Training from Elon.  Jennifer's approach to physical therapy intervention utilizes manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise to help each individual achieve their goals. 

 

 

 

 

Terry Kramer, PT, MPT - Staff Physical Therapist.  Terry graduated from Western Carolina University with a Master’s of Physical Therapy degree in 1999. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Terry has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings but enjoys the outpatient orthopedic setting the most. He has gone through the series of 5 McKenzie continuing education courses and passed the credentialing examination to become credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. The McKenzie courses deal primarily with evaluation and treatment of the spine but the techniques can also be applied to the extremities. Terry incorporates patient education to help patients understand what is causing their symptoms and how to correct their problems to improve their functional mobility and independence.

 

 

Laura Schiener, PT, MPT - Staff Physical Therapist.  Mrs. Schiener graduated with her Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also has a B.S. degree in Exercise Sports Science from Elon University. She is currently continuing her education with UNC-CH to obtain her Doctorate in physical therapy. Laura’s passion is being on the volleyball court, but enjoys outdoor activities as well. She uses a manual therapy approach and education to help her patient’s achieve their goals while also emphasizing the importance of overall health and wellness.

 

 

  

Debra Albrecht, PT -  Debra is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She has over twenty years of clinical experience in evaluation and treatment for spinal dysfunction, head/neck and facial pain (TMD), Fibromyalgia, headache, and musculoskeletal pain/injury.  She has clinical experience in evaluation of TMD and has worked with Dentists, Oral Surgeons, and Orthdondists.  Debra is a certified by the Vodder School of North America for evaluation and treatment of lymphedema.  She has a strong personal commitment to clinical excellence with extensive CE courses over her years of practice.  Debra feels it is important to treat the cause of the problems and not just the symptoms.  Her patients receive thorough evaluation and treatment inclusive of specific myofascial and joint release, as well as functional strengthening.

 

Subhashini Sharma, PT, MPT -Mrs. Sharma graduated with her Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.  Subhashini enjoys treating patients of all ages and is committed to providing quality patient care.  She is proud to be part of the Sports and More family.

 

 

Taylor Pope, PT, DPT  

Taylor Pope received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in August 2010. He discovered his passion for physical therapy after pursuing a career in photojournalism in New York City at the turn of the century. This native of Florida is a life-long athlete and currently has competed in consecutive National Championships in Ultimate Frisbee every year since 2003 with local elite club "Ring of Fire." He believes that optimization of the body can begin at any point in one's life and hopes to work together with his patients to identify large and small contributing factors to their pain and dysfunction, at which point he employs manual therapy and targeted exercise to accomplish patient goals.

 

 

Marci Siebeking, PT, DPT - Marci graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duke University.  She also has a B.A. degree in Biology and Exercise-Chemistry from McDaniel College.  Marci enjoys running  (especially half marathons), hiking with her greyhound and traveling.  Marci believes the key to success for her patients is combining manual therapy and functional therapeutic exercise.

 

 

 Tom Hendrickson, PT, DPT -Tom graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Clinical Science, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy.  He enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, backpacking, and camping.  He believes that patient education is the keystone to recovery, and with knowledge comes the ability to independently maintain overall function and quality of life.

 

Corinne Policari, PT, DPT - Corinne Policari graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2009. Additionally, she has been certified in massage therapy since 2005. Corinne has clinical experience with pelvic/women’s health physical therapy as well as continuing education for this population. She works to create a safe space for patients and utilizes a manual therapy treatment approach paired with appropriate, functional exercise programs. She feels that

one of the most rewarding things about working at Sports and More Physical Therapy is participating in the care of a wide variety of patients with a dedicated team.  Corinne is a member of the American Physical Therapist Association (APTA), the state association’s North Carolina Chapter, as well as the APTA’s Women’s Health Section.


  Catelyn King, PT, DPT-

Catelyn relocated to North Carolina from Pennsylvania where she graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Kinesiology and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. She loves learning about thehuman body and how it creates movement. Catelyn enjoys being active and promoting  increased fitness and correct movement patterns  in all of her patients.


Megan Barrett, PT, DPT - 

Megan graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UNC Chapel Hill.  She also received her B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC Chapel Hill.  Megan is passionate about helping her patients reach their maximal level of function and believes that patient education is crucial for success.  Megan also enjoys promoting wellness and injury prevention especially in young athletes.  Megan is proud to be a part of the Sports and More team and enjoys working with such a dedicated and caring group of therapists.  Outside of physical therapy, Megan enjoys teaching Scottish highland dance, playing the flute, and hiking with her husband Justin.



ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF 

 

 Jen Pearson - Jen is the office manager for Sports & More Physical Therapy, Inc.  She runs the billing department and has been an integral member of the team since its inception.   She is very outgoing and accessible to both employees and our patients.   She is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure excellent patient satisfaction.

 

 

Margaret Barber- Margaret is currently an administrative assistant at Sports & More and also a student at Wake Technical Community College.  She joined the team at the end of January and with her pleasant demeanor, she has instantly become a wonderful asset to the front desk.

 

 

Jonathan Anderson - Jonathan has a B.A. in Philosophy from UC Riverside and is currently working on an M.Div. at SEBTS.  He joined the Sports & More team in February of 2008 as an Administrative Assistant.  He is a valuable asset in assisting the billing office and in the overseeing of special projects.  He loves bringing humor to his job and he enjoys working with his co-workers and working for the patients.



  Andrea Carson -Andrea joined Sports & More Physical Therapy Team in January 2009 as the Assistant Office Manager and is also a student at Mount Olive.  Andrea will receive her degree in Healthcare Management in December 2009.  Andrea has jumped right in with assisting the Office Manager run the Billing Department. Andrea aims to please both Patients and Employees.

 

Katie Averett - Katie joined the Sports & More Admin team in December 2009.  She is a Cary, NC native and after studying abroad in Ireland for a semester, she received her bachelor's degree from NC State in 2007.  She loves to travel and hang out wtih family and friends.  Katie plays co-ed softball and loves to watch and play many other sports as well.  In June 2010, Katie completed her first half marathon through Team in Training to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and will continue to run for a good cause.  Katie plans to return to school in the future to pursue a post-graduate level degree but is currently a wonderful lead in our Raleigh office.  She is a very hard worker, team player and provides wonderful customer service.

 

Matt Belvin - Matt joined the Sports & More Admin team in March of 2010.  Matt graduated from ECU with a degree in Financial Management in 2006.  Matt enjoys writing and playing music, going to the gym and being with good friends.  He has had years of experience with customer service and client relations.  Matt enjoys making people smile, that is why Matt is a wonderful asset to the Sports & More team.  Matt thrives for great customer service.  He is a team player and our patients love him!

 

 

Beth Hykes - Beth is currently a part-time administrative assistant at Sports & More.  She grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State University with her BS.  She recently moved to Raleigh to join her husband who is attending school in the area.  Beth seeks to provide excellent customer service to all of the clinic's patients.

 

Ginny Moses - Ginny joined the Sports & More team in March 2010.  Ginny is an honor student at Sanderson High School.  She is active within her school and community along wtih being a competitive soccer player.  Ginny loves music, her dog Nike, and going out on the lake in the summer.  Ginny is a wonderful addition to Sports & More.  Her sense of humor and work ethic endear her to staff and patients alike.  We look forward to seeing her continue to grow and blossom in the future.

 

 

Shanna Funcke joined the Sports & More team in Auguest 2010.  She has an extensive background in customer service.  Shanna immediately found a spot on our team with her bubbly personality and bright smile.  Her dedication and hard work is noticed by both the patients and her co-workers.  Shanna enjoys time with her family and good friends.
